About the RACGP Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health ±«سمتسئµ Committee
The ±«سمتسئµ Committee was established in 2011 as a sub-committee to the RACGP Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Council.
The ±«سمتسئµ Committee's responsibility is to provide advice to the RACGP Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Council on matters concerning Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health training and education. Additionally, the Committee will address any other relevant issues related to general practice education in the context of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health as needed.
RACGP Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Vision:
All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples receive optimal primary healthcare from GPs and are able to enjoy long and healthy lives.

The RACGP Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health ±«سمتسئµ Committee is seeking new members. The roles of Chair and Deputy Chair are also open—please indicate in your application if you wish to be considered for either position.

Appointments are for a three-year term, commencing 1 July 2025. Priority will be given to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.

Selection Criteria:
- A RACGP Member
- Experience as a GP working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
- Experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health education and training
- Experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and cultural safety education
Community Member
Selection Criteria:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- Experience in GP education and training
- Experience in working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
