The opioid crisis in Australia continues to grow, with increasing rates of dependence, overdose and harm. There is an urgent need for skilled prescribers to deliver safe, evidence-based treatment. This training offers a pathway to MATOD (Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Dependence) accreditation and supports practitioners to build confidence in opioid dependence care.
